Meet the Team

Chuckie Miller

Current owner of Long Beach Unified Bar & Lounge 2222 E Anaheim St Long Beach Ca, former Defensive Back/Indianapolis Colts, 35 years in the event/night club promotion business, real estate investor, CEO of Kids Fitness Say Yes to Life 501c3.

Born as Charles Elliot Miller on May 9, 1965, in Anniston, Alabama, "Chuckie" is a former American football player with a remarkable journey. Chuckie's love for the game ignited during his high school days at the prestigious Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and his talent led him to a collegiate career at UCLA from 1983 to 1987. In the spring of 1987, he achieved a significant milestone by being drafted into the National Football League (NFL) by the Indianapolis Colts.

He dedicated two seasons to the Colts before concluding his NFL career in 1990. However, Chuckie Miller's story is far from the retired athletes fading into the background. Upon retiring from the sport that had defined his life, Chuckie's new mission began immediately. He set out to make a meaningful impact in the Southern California region by establishing his own gym, "Better Bodies," located in Signal Hill, California. Through his gym, Chuckie became a guiding force for countless young athletes, inspiring them to aspire to greater heights.

His dedication didn't stop there. Chuckie had the privilege of training and mentoring exceptional talents, including the likes of 3-time Super Bowl Champion Willie McGinest (known for his time with USC, the New England Patriots, and the Cleveland Browns), as well as the 1991 Offensive Rookie of the Year, Leonard Russell (who played for the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, St. Louis Rams, and San Diego Chargers). In fact, Chuckie's guidance extended to over 68 other players who eventually realized their NFL dreams. Chuckie Miller's life is a testament to the enduring impact one can make beyond the football field, and his dedication to nurturing the potential of young athletes is a legacy that continues to thrive.
